Interstate 376 West (Parkway East) to the Grant Street exit. Proceed on Grant Street to the 4th traffic light (Grant St. & Fourth Ave.). The City-County Building is on the right side of Grant Street between Fourth and Forbes Avenues. The Courthouse is on the right side of Grant Street between Forbes and Fifth Avenues.

The Pittsburgh Municipal Court (PMC) was established on January 1, 2005, pursuant to the Order of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania regarding the "Reestablishment of the Magisterial District within the 5th Judicial District of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."Located in the Municipal Courts Building, 660 First Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, PMC comprises a Non-traffic Division, Traffic Division and Criminal Division. Magisterial District Judges are assigned to preside over more than 70,000 cases annually in this court.
